Stacey Thunder, Red Lake Band of Ojibwe, is the anchor of ''Native Report'' and conducts many of the interviews for the half-hour public television program.
"Native Report'' started with four episodes during 2004 and grew into a full 15-episode schedule by 2006. Now the half-hour program has been requested by public stations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, California, North and South Dakota, Michigan, Wyoming, Florida and Virginia.

With so much of the media's focus on tragic and negative events in tribal communities, this new series aims to bring attention to positive stories of Native American life. Native Report will highlight challenges and successes of Native Americans, and educate viewers about the heritage and culture of tribal people in Minnesota and the nation. The series will interview some of today's most prominent Indian Country leaders, feature influential tribal elders, and cover matters relevant to Native American culture.

April 23, 2006 - Robby Romero, one of Native America's leading rock musicians, joined Peter Maffay in performing a song dedicated to the survival of the Lakota language on the forthcoming Peter Maffay "Encounters 2" album. The duet with Maffay of Romero's hit song "Heart Beat" represents the Lakota language project on the benefit album. Maffay and Romero are using the power of music to spread the word about the language crisis. The Album will be released in October 2006. Romero is well-known for his charity work across Indian country, particularly through Native Children's Survival, and is honored to be part of this worthwhile effort.
