Spring 2007 Dakota René performed with Robby Romero, Peter Maffay, Zola and Tsipi Mashid on the acclaimed "Encounters II" Tour in Europe. And, this summer, while continuing her education in Paris, Dakota performed with Robby Romero, Carlos Santana, Peter Maffay and his band, in the Ruhr Congress in Bochum Germany with Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), Angelique Kidjo, BAP, Tina Dico and Heinz Rudolf Kunze. The proceeds of this concert support the humanitarian projects of the MILAGRO Foundation in San Francisco, and the Desmond Tutu PEACE CENTER in South Africa.
