In 1990, Robby Romero formed an “alter-native” rock band with Native American roots called Red Thunder. That’s the band featured on the soundtrack, Hidden Medicine, a 30-minute film about the depletion of America’s remaining forests.
Romero’s singing is clear and strong. He shows great promise as a film songwriter. On the soundtrack, the use of Native American instruments adds just the right touches, especially in tracks like “Lakota Winyan” – a very very good song.
