Exposed Roots

|
| Though
their last few albums have been a bit mired in the modern
sensibilities of dancehall reggae, Ziggy Marley and the
Melody Makers have always delivered the roots-reggae goods
in concert, shuffling more stripped-down versions of their
latest tunes with selections from their still-great One
Bright Day and even some favorites by papa Bob. This
week, the Marley clan hits the Paolo Soleri with
"alter-native" rock band Red Thunder, a
Taos band fronted by Robby Romero that has been seeing its
fair share of commercial success in the
soundtrack/multimedia vein. |
