CELEBRATING THE YEAR OF
THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE

The Aveda Corporation and the Give To The Earth Foundation kicked-off The Year of the Indigenous People at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles with an evening of music, speakers, and the kindred spirits of the Native American culture, featuring America’s premiere Native Rock artists, Red Thunder.
Horst Rechelbacher, Aveda founder and CEO, addressed the standing-room only crowd that attended Aveda and Give to the Earth Foundation’s kick-off celebration for the United Nation’s Year of the Indigenous People.
United Nations Ambassador of Youth for the Environment, Robby Romero, along with Native American singers, dancers, and musicians performed at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles for a benefit sponsored by the Aveda Corporation and the Give to the Earth Foundation. Through Give to the Earth, money raised will go to the Native Children’s Survival Foundation.
