CELEBRATING THE YEAR OF
THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE |
The
Aveda Corporation and the Give To The Earth Foundation
kicked-off The Year of the Indigenous People at the Roxy
Theatre in Los Angeles with an evening of music, speakers,
and the kindred spirits of the Native American culture,
featuring America’s premiere Native Rock artists, Red
Thunder.
Horst
Rechelbacher, Aveda founder and CEO, addressed the
standing-room only crowd that attended Aveda and Give to
the Earth Foundation’s kick-off celebration for the
United Nation’s Year of the Indigenous People.
United Nations
Ambassador of Youth for the Environment, Robby Romero,
along with Native American singers, dancers, and musicians
performed at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles for a benefit
sponsored by the Aveda Corporation and the Give to the
Earth Foundation. Through Give to the Earth, money raised
will go to the Native Children’s Survival Foundation. |
